Gregg Brummer

Gregg Brummer is EVP, Chief Operating Officer of Republic Services, Inc. He is responsible for operationalizing the company’s strategy and executing its business plan across field operations. He also has functional responsibility for all operational support departments, including safety, engineering, environmental compliance and management of a fleet that includes one of the largest vocational truck fleets in the country.
Gregg has more than 35 years of operations experience. Since joining the Company in 2014, he has held roles of increasing responsibility within the Operations organization, most recently as SVP, Operations. Prior to joining Republic, he held leadership roles at BlueLinx Corporation and Georgia Pacific Corp.
Gregg holds a bachelor’s degree in finance from the University of Iowa.
