Organic Waste & Recycling Solutions
Organic waste recycling solutions that put your organic yard and food waste to good use.
Organic Waste
According to the Environmental Protection Agency, organic waste makes up about 30% of the waste sent to landfills. Composting is a popular way to divert organic waste from landfills and contribute to the circular economy. And we can help.
Why Should You Compost?
Reduces Greenhouse Gases
Less organic waste in landfills means fewer greenhouse gases emitted into the air.
Creates Natural Fertilizer
When composted, organic waste can be converted into a nutrient-rich fertilizer.
Minimizes Landfill Waste
Composting can reduce the waste that ends up in a landfill.

Organics in Your Area
Organic waste recycling can vary by community. So be sure to check with your local organic waste recycling services. Putting items in your cart that aren’t compostable will contaminate or interfere with the organic waste recycling process. When in doubt, throw it out!

Organic Waste Services in California (SB 1383)
The California Senate Bill 1383 is a statewide effort to reduce emissions of short-lived climate pollutants (SLCP) by reducing organic waste disposal. By placing organic waste into an organics recycling cart instead of a trash cart, California residents are diverting organic waste from the landfill and reducing these harmful emissions. Many California residents and businesses are required to recycle organic waste beginning January 1, 2022.
